WEATHER: The Orange alert will begin this Saturday at 7pm and is expected to continue until 3 am Sunday .
Meteo France urges caution in the south of France. The departments of Gard and Hérault were placed in orange alert for storms. “Within a rainy episode Cevennes, storms will rise evening from the Mediterranean to the plains of Languedoc,” said Meteo France in its forecast bulletin .
The alert will begin this Saturday at 7pm and is expected to continue until 3 am Sunday.

“These storms can be strong and will be accompanied by heavy rainfall intensities. Expected amounts of rainfall of 80 mm possible in less than three hours.”
On the Cevennes relief on the entire episode, “the totals reach 180 to 200 mm,”added the weather forecasting agency.
