The owner of a house in Servian near Béziers in the Hérault , killed Thursday night a burglar who had introduced armed home in the presence of his family. The man was taken into custody, said Angélique Depétris, deputy prosecutor of Béziers. The investigation was entrusted to the Gendarmerie research section to determine especially if it was in self defence.

According to the first elements of the investigation, two armed robbers broke into the owner’s house and threatened him and his family. According to France Bleu Hérault , the two individuals, also masked and gloved, had “very severely beaten” the husband for money. They would have given them the recipe of the day but the attackers wanted more, say our colleagues.
The other burglar fled
One of the robbers is mounted on the floor, and the property owner is then grabbed a weapon and fired. Investigators are trying to determine if the weapon belongs to the owner or if the burglars.
