The search has resumed early Wednesday morning. One person is still missing in Haute-Loire, after violent storms that hit on Tuesday evening in the Haute-Loire department.

“Research has lasted well into the night without success and they will resume this morning (Wednesday) at dawn,” said the prefect of the department Éric Maire, at USAinformations .

The driver of a tractor aged 27

The scope of the person  missing  is the driver of a tractor, aged 27 years old, washed away in Brignon on Tuesday night. He indicated a way for firefighters to rescue a resident when the ground collapsed, said the mayor of Brignon Jerome Bay on BFMTV. Two kayakers who were also missing, were found on Wednesday morning.

One hundred and fifty people were safely placed in two cities south of the department, also said the prefect. In total, firefighters have made more than one hundred interventions.
