The French team for the World Cycling Track team announced

We know the French selection that will leave in Hong Kong from 12th to the 16th April to participate in the Track Cycling World Championships. Sylvain Chavanel, 37 years old and winner including a stage of the Tour de France was chosen, as François Pervis, one of the only survivors of Rio.

Sylvain Chavanel (37), former yellow jersey and stage winner of the Tour de France, was selected in the France team that will compete at the upcoming World Championships on track, from the 12th to the 16th April in Hong Kong.

Compared to the Olympics in Rio last summer, only François Pervis (speed bronze medalist with Team Grégory Baugé and Michael D’Almeida) and Laurie Berthon kept their place.

The French selection for Hong Kong:  Ladies: Laurie Berthon and Marion Borras (Auvergne / Rhône-Alpes), Elise Delzenne (Lotto), Coralie Demay and Roxane Fournier (FDJ Futuroscope), Mathilde Gros (Ile de France)  Gentlemen: Sylvain Chavanel (Direct Energie), Thomas Denis Florian Master and François Pervis (Pays de Loire), Benjamin Edelin and Sébastien Vigier (Ile de France), Corentin Ermenault (Team Wiggins), Morgan Kneisky and Benjamin Thomas (Army ), Quentin Lafargue (Aquitaine)
