Two women from the south-Mayenne, were killed in a head-on collision on Friday late afternoon in Trémorel (22).
The tragic road accident occurred yesterday around 5pm on the RN164 at Merdrignac in the Côtes d’Armor. Two women aged 22 and 33 years were in a Renault Twingo. They were driving between Loudéac and Tremorel on a straight road. For some unexplained reason, the car swerves onto the opposite lane and collides head on with an oncoming 4×4 vehicle.
The impact sent the small car flying to the side of the road, ending on its side. Its two occupants died instantly. There are two Mayennaises aged 22 and 33 years. The first lived in Aze, the second is a native of Meslay-du-Maine. Inside their car, two dogs were also killed.
Both passengers and the driver of the 4X4, all slightly injured, were transported to the hospital of Central Brittany, in Pontivy (Morbihan).
