The unemployment figures for the Mayenne department have just been released, showing a sharp decline of jobseekers in one month …
10,680 people in category A, were registered with Pole Emploi at the end of September in Mayenne. In one month, the number of job seekers decreased by 3.5% (or 390 persons less) against – 2.6% in Pays de la Loire and – 1.9% in France.
In less than 25 years, the decline in unemployment was even sharper in the department of Mayenne: – 10% between August and September 2016 and – 14% in a year.
By contrast, in over 50 years, the number of job seekers rose slightly: + 1.6% between August 2016 and September 2016.
