Significant resources were mobilized on Tuesday night to find a 10 year old child who had left the medical-educational institute (IME) at Montfort-sur-Meu, west of Rennes. The girl returned to the IME in the night.
Firefighters and police were on Tuesday night, in search of a 10 year old girl, who misled the IME monitoring staff, situated in the locality Saint-Lazare, in the municipality Montfort-sur-Meu, about thirty kilometres from Rennes.
Helicopter and beaten in forest
The facility, which receives children and adolescents with mental disabilities, is located a few kilometers from downtown Montfort, near a forest.
The helicopter of the gendarmerie was called up in the evening. The pond, located nearby, was dredged in vain. The dark did not facilitate research.
While a beat was organized with the assistance of volunteers to find the child and that the search remained fruitless, the girl returned to the IME in the night. It is safe.
