Cdiscount has announced the launch of a new home delivery service, the same day, for all products of more than 30 kg ordered before 2pm. This service is the conclusion of a double development policy, for storage on the one hand, and on the other hand delivery logistics, on which is greatly focused for the leading French e-commerce in recent months.
Charged five euros more than a standard delivery, this express delivery is now available in Paris and the Ile de France, as well as Lyon and Villeurbanne, in the immediate vicinity of the two giants warehouse Cdiscount, in Saint-Mard (Seine-et-Marne) and Andrézieux (Loire).
Objective: Darty competition
The specialized site LSA Conso states that the subsidiary Cnova now offers three modes of express delivery. In addition to this latest development, it is also possible, indeed, to receive the next day in a relay point for any order placed up to 7pm.
The Ile-de-France and Lyon are always concerned and Saint-Etienne, Marseille and Lille. The third fast delivery method provides them, routing relay points and 48 hours of any package of more than 30 kg to the main French cities.
The Goal for Cdiscount is to be competitive with its rivals, including Darty, which recently launched a delivery service, for the the same day, including bulky goods ordered before 4pm.
