Jacquouille the Fripouille and Godefroy de Montmirail are preparing to make their return to the big screen for the film ‘Les Visiteurs 3’. To be directed by Jean-Marie Poiré, Les Visiteurs 3: la Terreur is expected in cinemas by April, 2016 and will resume the plot where it ended in the previous film.
The entire cast has just been made official by Gaumont. Jean Reno and Christian Clavier will play the same roles and will be surrounded by Franck Dubosc, Karin Viard, Ary Abittan, Sylvie Testud, Frédérique Bel, Marie-Anne Chazel or Alex Lutz.
Filming of the new film is expected to begin on the 13th April, and is expected to last eleven weeks.
Les Visiteurs 2 was released in cinemas in 1998, five years after Les Visiteurs. Nearly 14 million people watched the first film, and 8 million visited the cinema for the second film.
