As Christmas is rapidly approaching, this month, I will try and keep my eyes open to any Christmas markets that are taking place in and around where I live and work, as most villages and towns have them taking place over one of the weekends before Christmas.
Some of them can be quite small affairs run by the local schools in the village and offer the opportunity for the parents and children, both past and present to support the school and raise money at the same tiime. Other events, especially in the larger villages and Towns are normally well organised large events with many stalls and exhibitors participating and if the weather is dry and not too cold, can be really enjoyable days out for all the family.
