Last year in my village, it was on the 11th, and it is the same this year. In Châteaubriant (44) they also have a ceremony on the 11th as well, at the Monument aux Morts des Terrasses starting at 11:45 am.
Also, around where I live, the schools and most of the shops and Supermarkets are shut as well.
