Bastille Day – 14th July
Bastille Day Today, Went to the fireworks display last night in Chateaubriant at Lake Choisel, a few minutes from the centre.
They had a live band playing on the back of a lorry, and constructed a dancefloor, with all the disco lights, so that everyone could dance. There was a bar and a take away food area. At 11.30pm, the band stopped, and the lights dimmed down and the fireworks display started.
It was an impressive display, set over the lake, with music playing in the background, and lasted for just over 10 minutes.
I have taken some footage and will try to upload it to youtube, and place it on here later.
