Firefighters from Hennebont intervened twice on Saturday, for fire that have started along the N165 dual Carriageway, at the interchange Kerdual near Lorient. The question why ? Cigarette butts discarded by motorists.
Twice on Saturday, firefighters from Hennebont and also released fire vehicle for forest fires. Each time for the same reason: the fire starts on the expressway, N165, at the interchange Kerdual. The interventions took place at 1pm and 5pm.
For relief, the origin of these fire starts is obvious: cigarette butts discarded by motorists along the road. They landed in dried herbs with heat flare up very easily. “Besides the risk of spread, smoke may surprise drivers who slow down and this can lead to accidents” , say the fire Hennebont.
