A resident of the Ille-et-Vilaine, aged 22, was intercepted by the police on Thursday 10th November in The Brûlatte (Mayenne). He was travelling at 161 km/h when he should not have exceeded 110.
The police had announced a big speed enforcement operation on the eve of the 11th November. Mobilized across the whole of the department of Mayenne, they intercepted a particular inhabitant of the Ille-et-Vilaine, aged 22.
The young driver traveling at the speed of 161 km/h instead of 110 allowed on the A81, at the Brulatte. His probationary driving license which he has had for less than three years did not allow him to travel at the indicated 130 km/h, as he is restricted to 110 km/h on motorways. It was withdrawn on the spot and will be cut by 6 points.
