Bad news for employment in France. The British retailer Marks and Spencer announced today, Tuesday the closure of seven stores of the eighteen located in France, which alone employ more than 500 people.

All French stores concerned

The group announced in a statement that it wished to close a hundred stores in ten countries which are trading at a deficit and will also include outlets in the United Kingdom.

In France, this concerns all stores directly operated by the brand in food and clothes in Paris and the Paris region, which includes the Champs Elysees.
