The PlayStation 4 has crushed the competition in 2015, in France. According to LeFigaro, the latest Sony console, on sale in France for just over two years, has sold 1 million copies last year.
Four of the five best-selling titles of the year also come from the Sony console
Citing figures from GfK, the national daily stresses that these record sales (20% in one year) are beyond the PlayStation 4 the milestone of two million copies sold in France (2.15 million). By comparison, only 742,000 copies of the Wii U (Nintendo) and 715,000 copies of Xbox One (Microsoft) were currently sold in France.
Finally, four of the five best-selling games of the year are also from the Sony console. FIFA 16 takes the top spot. Followed by Call of Duty, Star Wars Battlefront, and GTA V. Nintendo disrupts this Sony charts by placing Splatoon for the Wii U in 4th position.
