Kits at Hema and Toys Sold at Action Recalled Throughout France for the Presence of Asbestos

DANGER: Products sold at Hema and Action have been recalled since Friday because they may contain asbestos and cause significant health problems
Be careful if you have recently purchased products for children in Action or Hema stores. Various articles have been recalled throughout France since Friday because they are likely to contain asbestos, reports RappelConso.
First of all, we find “creative sand kits” sold in Hema stores but also on the brand’s website. This is a “Pink-Lila Creative Sandbag” referenced 15.90.0101, another “green-blue” bearing the number 15.90.0102 as well as a ” set of 6 Sandblasters ” with item number 15.90.0035. These three products were marketed from March 18, 2024 to February 11, 2026.
“Serious health problems”
Still on the Hema side, then come “Creation cards in sand” (15.92.0121) and ” Magnets sand creations ” (15.92.0122). They were offered from the 6th February 2023 to the 16th March 2025. As the company explains, “after further analysis, it was found that asbestos was detected in at least one small tube of the products mentioned above”. Asbestos can cause “serious problems health when fiber is inhaled, recalls Hema.
Figurines sold at Action
Some toys sold at Action, but also in B&M and SMYTHS TOYS stores, were also recalled for the same reason this Monday. These are the figurines Stretcherz “from the HTI Toys brand and elastic figurines” Stretch Squad “sold in individual batches or four. In both cases, numerous references are concerned. The product list can be viewed at RappelConso.
