I wake up on the Sunday (Fathers Day), to the children waking me up, to give me their Father Day cards and presents that they have made at school. After Lunch, we decide that we will go to a local Fête de Musique in the village. It was a much smaller event than the one we attended the friday before in Châteaubriant, comprising of one stage and a large Beer Tent.
The Music was more traditional Breton style, Jazz, Folk songs etc which was nice and relaxing, and was made even easier to relax with the Tempertures hovering just above 38 °C, and a cold beer in hand, sitting in the shade and talking to friends.
This is just typical of the many Fêtes that they hold in the villages, low key, but full of atmosphere and of course always a bar closeby.
