24 August – Busy doing the rounds this afternoon as school time approaches and it is necessary to go and purchase all the books, pens, paper, bags etc (the list is exhaustive), ready for the return of school.
Luckily the Government give an allowance towards the cost which helps soften the blow when you come to pay. The problem is everyone today must of had the same idea and go shopping for the school stuff today, mind you the promotions have just started which has encouraged more people to shop.
It was Bedlam, with everbody with lists of equipment needed and everyone trying to get what they need, with all the children running around picking up stuff that you don’t.
Thank goodness it is just once a year.
