Kuwait on Wednesday signed several agreements and declarations of intent with France, including one for the acquisition of 24  Caracal helicopters, made by Airbus for a total of 2.5 billion euros, Matignon said.

Light armoured vehicles

The “technical arrangement” for the acquisition of 24 Caracal helicopters, along with an option for six additional aircraft, alone are the value of one billion euros, said the same source.  Two declarations of intent were also signed on the acquisition of equipment, such as light armoured vehicles, and patrol maintenance, as well.
