At the port of Nort-sur-Erdre (Loire-Atlantique), the electric boat rental facility has just reopened to the public. Extra boats are even offered.
In 2018, the town of Nort-sur-Erdre (Loire-Atlantique) commissioned the company Ruban Vert to rent electric boats in the port during the summer season ; the harbor master’s office retains only the rental of canoes and kayaks.
No need for a permit
As a result of the success of this first experiment, the municipality has thus secured for the 2019 season the convention passed with Ruban Vert, who settles in the Basin on the pontoon dedicated to him.
Matthieu Olive, manager of the company, explains:
“We will have eight boats this year, instead of six last year: unlicensed boats and 100% electric from 3 to 8 adult seats. The rental is open from 1st May an hour (25 €) to the 7-hour day. “
Open on weekends and holidays in May and June from 1 pm to 7 pm 7 days a week in July and August with a time slot from 11 am to 8 pm on weekends. Information and reservations on www.rubanvert.fr .
