Each Pentecost Sunday since 1998, the town of Pornichet closes its beachfront and opens it for roller skating.
The Pornichet Roller on Pentecost Sunday, has become one of the unmissable events of spring to all generations. Children, parents and even grandparents like to get together for the occasion and share a moment of sporting pleasure on a circuit of more than 2 km facing the sea.
Every year, the seafront boulevard will be closed for vehicles to make way for skaters who will be able to move freely and security.
