400 people interested in the event
An important safety device will be put in place on New Year’s Eve in Toulouse, as was the case on Sunday 30th December, 2018: about fifty yellow vests had decided to gather on the Capitol Square around 2pm, and were followed very closely by the police. No overflow was deplored.
On Facebook, the event “Eve of Yellow Vests in Toulouse” has so far a hundred participants and around 400 people interested .
Two days after “Act VII”
A demonstration that takes place two days after Act VII yellow vests in downtown Toulouse, Saturday 29th December, 2018. They were 1,350 to have gathered , including “700 yellow vests peaceful” and about “600 profiles violent “according to the figures of the prefecture of Haute-Garonne.
Clashes erupted throughout the afternoon in several areas of the Pink City. First of all, in front of Saint-Sernin Basilica , then at Compans-Caffarelli , Saint-Cyprien , and finally on Capitol Square at the beginning of the evening . Three wounded were deplored, in a provisional assessment of the prefecture, and at least 21 people were arrested.
