The Vendée will have its time of the Tour de France cyclists on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July. Motorists will have to make their arrangements.
The Vendée is preparing to host the Grand Départ of the Tour de France cycling, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July.
On the roads of the department, priority will be given to the peloton.
To reach the starting line at Noirmoutier, drivers will have to get up early. The island will be closed from 7am to 2pm.
In Sables-d’Olonne , the RD80 and RD87A will be closed from 9am to 2pm. From Jard-sur-Mer to La Tranche, total blocking from 9:30 to 15 hours.
On the finish circuit at Fontenay-le-Comte, cars will not drive from 8am to 6pm.
La Roche “looped” from 8 am to 8:30 pm
On Sunday, it is Mouilleron-Saint-Germain who will put his stop from 8 am to 2.30pm.
The road linking Les Lucs-sur-Boulogne to Aizenay will be closed from noon to 4:40 pm
There is no question of traveling between Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups and Chaillé-sous-les-Ormeaux , from 12:45 to 5.30pm or to Saint-Florent-des-Bois until 1pm to 6pm. The “climb” to La Roche will be cut from 1:15 pm to 6:15 pm
La Roche, precisely, will be “encircled” from 8 am to 8:30 pm.
