The announcement surprised more than one. Johnny Hallyday said on Sunday on Twitter that he would start next year a new tour “rock and blues.” The singer said no more in his short message “2018 tour Soon rock and blues.”

If this ad has been surprising is that the French star’s condition is one of the tabloids for months. Johnny Hallyday has informed his fans in March that he is being treated for cancer and was hospitalized last week.
Last week, the press officer of the singer confided to the press that the star was hospitalized to undergo several tests for its next chemotherapy. He later flew to his home in St. Barts in the Caribbean, to spend family time with his wife and two daughters.
Despite his condition, the rocker 74 years has just completed a tour of Old Canailles, with Eddy Mitchell and Jacques Dutronc, in July.
