Road safety breaks records … speeding records
On Monday 20th March, 2017 at 4.45pm at Jublains, on the RD7 (axis Mayenne – Evron – Sable-sur-Sarthe), an Alfa Romeo GT was clocked at 202 km/h on a section of road that is limited to a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The driver, from Evron, aged 22 years old, said he had bought the car four days earlier and had “wanted to try the engine.” His probationary driver’s license was immediately detained and Alfa Romeo, placed under judicial capital.
