The gendarmes were conducting checks on the roads of the Sarthe this Saturday 6th July. In two hours, they have verbalised 27 people for speeding from 20 to 40 km/h.
Saturday 6th July 2019, the first day of the great departures on vacation of the summer, the gendarmes of the Sarthe led road checks controls on the roads of the department.
Objective: “to fight against addictive behaviour (alcohol and drugs) and excessive speeds”.
From 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the gendarmes of the Departmental Road Safety Squadron reported numerous offences.
Five users speeding from 30 to 40 km/h
Five road users were checked for speeding from 30 to 40 km / h, and another 22 to 20 to 30 km / h. They were intercepted and verbalized.

33 speeding violations were reported by vehicles equipped with onboard automatic radar.
Other offences: one driver driving without a license, two others telephoning, another driving with too much blood alcohol to get behind the wheel, and two other roasting priorities.
