Circulation prohibited to cyclists and pedestrians
An exclusion zone of 300 meters has been defined. No living and residential area is concerned by this perimeter.
On the other hand, traffic to cyclists and pedestrians is prohibited on the towpath (Eurovelo6). Traffic on the Boulevard de la Prairie Mauves and navigation on the Loire are not impacted. It is, however, possible that a detonation be heard, especially near the boulevard de la meadow Mauves between 11.30am and 12 midday.
“If this operation does not pose a risk to the population, particularly because of its remoteness from residential areas, it is requested not to go to the secure perimeter and let the services work effectively to neutralize this bomb.”
