Maurice Manificat and Richard Jouve returned to French cross-country skiing for a second bronze medal on Wednesday in the team sprint. This is the 14th medal or the Blues at the Winter Olympics.
Thanks to Maurice Manificat and Richard Jouve , French cross-country skiing won its second bronze medal at the Pyeongchang Games (South Korea) on Wednesday 21st February, 2018, in the team sprint .
The French finished a little over two seconds behind Norway, the Olympic champions, and behind the Russian athletes under Winter Olympics Finish banner, finishing 2nd after a tight sprint.
The duo offers France the only medal of the day this Wednesday from the Winter Olympics, and one of the most unexpected for the Blues, not really favourites for this event.
Terribly disappointed after missing the podium in the 15 km free, Maurice Manificat, leader of the World Cup distance skiing, finally brings back two bronze medals at the Games, which largely comfort him.
