Left unconscious on the street, he could not be revived despite arrives.
The facts are linked to a dispute between the victim and the driver of a scooter.
Still unclear circumstances
According to a witness, the victim appears to have had an altercation with the driver of a scooter, ten minutes before the fight. Accompanied by two friends, the thirty year old walked into a grocery store and it’s when he was leaving the establishment, that he was attacked by several individuals, soon joined by others.
His two friends managed to escape, and their testimony will be valuable to allow investigators to identify the perpetrators. At present, no one was arrested, and there is nothing to link the altercation and the beating.
An autopsy will be performed. The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police in Seine-Saint-Denis.
