But in qualifying, the Briton has shown once again invincible. After a completely controlled session he took pole position for the first time on the Suzuka track to overtake Vettel, who will start from second position before Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes).
Of the French drivers, Esteban Ocon (Force India) has once again demonstrated his ability by getting seventh place. With penalties incurred by its competitors, it will even be fifth on the grid!
