Former tennis player Jérôme Golmard, number 1 for France in 1999, has died of Lou Gehrig’s disease against which he fought since January 2014.
The former French tennis player Jérôme Golmard died at the age of 43 last night, announced Le Bien Public on Tuesday. He was suffering from Charcot’s disease since January 2014.

Retired since 2006, Jérôme Golmard was best French player in the ATP rankings in 1999. He then reached the ranking of 22 global player.
