Only the least polluting vehicles, identified by a sticker can circulate when pollution peaks in Toulouse in late 2017. How to acquire this vignette?
The prefect of the Haute-Garonne, Pascal Mailhos, announced the introduction of alternating traffic in Toulouse during daily pollution peaks. It should be in place by the end of 2017.
To drive during those times when the atmosphere is polluted with particulates, drivers will have to demonstrate that their car, motorbike or truck is little polluting.
For this, a Crit’air sticker will be affixed to the windscreen. It will be of different colors, depending on the first date of the vehicle into circulation and its fuel .
An order on the Internet or by mail
The sticker can be ordered via the Internet , on the website of the Ministry of ecology and solidarity Transition , or by mail by downloading and printing the application form. It costs € 4.18.
The vehicle owner must simply enter their name, email address and registration number . Payment is made online if you choose to order online, or by check if you opted for the mail.
The Crit’air certificate is sent a few days later by post. Attention check that the address of your vehicle registration is up to date !
