Meteo France placed 53 departments on orange alert this Thursday in anticipation of a severe winter storm in the late afternoon. The department is also placed on yellow alert for snow and ice.

This alert is for a vast area from Brittany to Alsace, via the North, Ile de France, Burgundy and the Centre.
Morbihan is affected by this alert. The wind is expected to strengthen from 3pm until early evening.
Note also that starting from 14th January, temperatures will drop by 10 degrees on the entire territory. The cold wave will continue all week with temperatures ranging from -8 to -12 degrees to the northeast of the country.
