Saint-Fort: Two Injured in Accident
ROAD ACCIDENT: A car and a truck collided Monday night in Saint-Fort.
Around 5.30pm on Monday evening, a Lorry hit a car driving from Angers on the RN 162, in Saint-Fort, at a place called The Aillerie. The car, a Peugeot 106, travelling towards Menil and was about to turn left when it was struck from behind by a truck carrying wheat.
The driver of the car, a 52 year old man and his passenger, aged 18 years old were injured and transported to the Château-Gontier hospital by firefighters. The driver of the lorry is shocked but unhurt.
A detour was set up at the time of the accident and lasted until 7.40 pm.
