Lyon: Radiohead announced for Fourvière Nights Concert, June 1st

Scheduled from June 2nd to July 31st, the festival of Lyon has just completed a coup for June 1st, formalizing the legendary group, Radiohead on Monday …

Ten days before the official presentation of the programming, the Fourvière Nights already have announced, today, Monday a huge headliner act. The British group Radiohead will indeed play for the first time at the ancient theatre on Wednesday 1st June. A date rather amusing since the festival was originally scheduled from June 2 to July 31. But when one has the opportunity to bring the band of Thom Yorke, it’s probably more a logistical detail.

Although the prices of tickets have not yet been disclosed, it is expected that the ticket should clearly be sold rapidly on Friday, April 1st (10:30 am). Admittedly, since Arcade Fire in 2007 and Blur in 2009 , few groups of this magnitude had been programmed in the beautiful grounds of Fourvière.

Gérard Collomb is a fan of “No Surprises”

Radiohead is currently preparing a new album due out in May. Their Lyon fans were quick to show their enthusiasm on Twitter, … starting with the Mayor of Lyon Gerard Collomb.
