It was about 9am when the school bus, which was carrying no passengers, was found in the ditch, on the main road to Saint-Étienne-de-Montluc at a place called the Petite Lande. The road, is a busy and narrow road. This Bus was travelling in the direction of Saint-Etienne-de-Montluc from Couëron. The driver was found unconscious at the wheel then transported to the University Hospital of Nantes.
