I have just found out about a Book Exchange for Brits living here in France, situated in Mouais, a few minutes drive from Derval, (department 44).
They are situated in the Presbatory, and the easiest way for me to describe how to get there is that next to the Mairie (on the right of the building) is a public Car Park. Park your car there and continue to walk through the car park to the back of it and you will then see it sign posted.
The Book Exchange, which is open every Tuesday Morning, offers the FREE exchange of books, and has a tremendous selection covering all tastes. It also has a selection of Videos, DVD’s and Magazines.
I went for the first time last week, and was amazed that this isn’t as well publicised as it should be, offering a fantastic useful service to us Ex-Pats, and run by some helpful volunteers.
So if you are looking for swapping some books over and perhaps making a new friend or two, then pop along and take a look.
