Well after not quite getting to grips with PCLOS, although I did have a liking for it, I have found out that it was orginally based on Mandriva Linux, so I have decided to install this instead and have found it really works excellently.
It runs smooth, I haven’t had any problems with it, the desktop is easy to tweak and customise, and I much prefer the KDE Desktop to the Gnome version that Ubuntu had, it just feels more like windows, which I suppose after so many years of use with a windows enviroment is easier to use.
So my vote so far goes to Mandriva Spring 2008, and I am sticking with it for now.
