F1: Isack Hadjar will join Verstappen at Red Bull Next Season

MOTORSPORT: The Frenchman, Isack Hadjar will team up with Max Verstappen at the Red Bull team from next season. He will replace the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda
Isack Hadjar is ready to take a step forward. The Franco-Algerian Racing Bulls driver, currently 10th in the F1 driver rankings, will join Max Verstappen at Red Bull starting next season. A promotion which confirms Hadjar’s promising debut in Formula 1. At the end of summer, he had become the youngest French driver to reach a podium during the Dutch GP at the age of 20 years and 11 months.
He will replace the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda, demoted to the rank of reserve driver, Red Bull said. The seat he will leave vacant at Racing Bulls will be occupied by British debutant Arvid Lindblad, 18. “After all the hard work since joining the (Red Bull) junior team, it’s an incredible reward. I had a lot of ups and downs in my career, and they continued to believe in me and push me”, Hadjar was quoted as saying in the team’s statement.
Max Verstappen’s seventh teammate since 2016
In 2026, Isack Hadjar will become the seventh teammate of the ogre Verstappen since 2016, after Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly, and Liam Lawson, unceremoniously dismissed earlier this year.
” During his first season in F1, Isack showed great maturity and he proved that he learned quickly. More importantly, he showed his speed, which is the number 1 quality in this sport”, added Red Bull senior manager, Frenchman Laurent Mekies.
