For the Spanish low-cost airline, is the fourth establishment in France which next year, 2016, will result the presence of an aircraft and 25 flight personnel recruited locally.
The low-cost flights will make up 31 % of traffic
“Since the beginning of our operations in Toulouse in 2013, we are convinced of the great potential for economic and demographic development of this region,” said Carlos Muñoz, founder and CEO of Volotea. “there will be 12 new routes which will commence from next year from the City that will serve Strasbourg, Brest and Prague.”
A development that allows the airport to offset the decline in the number of seats offered during the winter season by Air France and its subsidiary Hop. “There is no frequency reduction, but smaller aircraft,” says Catherine Gay, director of airport development, which continues to focus on the low-cost offer.
29% today, the share of low-cost flights from the airport must pass next year to 31%.
