Let’s go ! The winter sales officially started in Lorraine Wednesday 2nd January, 2019, one week before the other regions of France .
Lorraine, wanting to align with the date of the Luxembourg sales , which began Saturday 29th December, 2018 , thus start its discounts earlier .
Customers of the Meuse, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Moselle and Vosges will enjoy the second week of school holidays to make some purchases.
Six weeks of promotions … for the last time
Lorraine consumers will have until Tuesday, February 12 included to benefit from many promotions in a wide range of signs, or six weeks. Because of the enactment of the “Pact” bill to reduce the duration of the balances from six to four weeks , this is the last opportunity to enjoy it for so long.
In Luxembourg, the sales also last four weeks, until Saturday, January 26th. Lorraine will therefore have two and a half weeks without competition from its neighbours.
Sunday, January 6, traders will play overtime and open all day, not just five hours, as provided by law. The shopping centers will also play the game: the Waves of the Actisud area , south of Metz (Moselle) will be open from 10am to 8pm, while the Muse, in Metz , will be open from 10am to 7pm.
