Tragic Accident: The baby died instantly …
Terrible tragedy late Wednesday afternoon in Marssac in the Tarn. A young mother started her car while her 18 month old son was in front of the wheels, reported on Fridayin La Depeche du Midi . She had not seen her son. The baby died instantly. Alerted, the first rescue team found the young mother carrying the lifeless body of her baby.
Two other ambulances were called in for parents, who were both in shock. Both were hospitalized in Albi. Five of the fourteen mobilized firemen were also supported by psychologists. The gendarmerie at Albi has opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy. Parents will be heard once out of the hospital.
