The famous French footballer Raymond Kopa died Friday morning in Angers, announced his entourage to the AFP. He was 85 years old.
The former striker of the France football team, became a legend in 1950’s in Reims (1951-1956) and Real Madrid (1956-1959) with whom he won three European cups before ending his career in the Champagne club.
He was a Semi-finalist of the 1958 World Cup in Sweden with the French team, and he is the first French player to win the Ballon d’Or that year.
