New alert for salmonella, the bacteria responsible for salmonellosis. In an alert sent this Monday, May 22, 2023, the official Rappel Conso website announces the recall of organic arugula sold at Intermarché, which could therefore cause a food infection.
This is the Saint-Eloi brand sachet, 100 g, marketed in all stores of the brand between May 5 and 16, under the following references:

Gastrointestinal disorders, fever, headache
In question: a probable presence of salmonella. According to Rappel Conso, “food poisoning caused (by these bacteria) results in gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhoea, vomiting) of sudden onset, often accompanied by fever and headaches which generally occur 6 to 72 hours after consumption of the contaminated products.
“These symptoms may be more pronounced in young children, pregnant women, immunocompromised individuals and the elderly.”
