Sweden’s Lennart Johansson, former president of the European Football Union (UEFA) from 1990 to 2007, died at the age of 89.

Sweden ‘s Lennart Johansson , former president of the European Football Union (UEFA) from 1990 to 2007, died at the age of 89, the Swedish Football Association said on Wednesday.

“Swedish football is in mourning. Lennart Johansson is dead. He fell asleep on the evening of June 4, following a short illness, at age 89, “the federation said in a statement.
