A tragic road accident left one person dead and two minor injuries Monday, May 14, 2018 in Moselle , near Thionville and the Luxembourg border, relief was reported.
Two cars collided frontally at the commune of Volmerange-lès-Mines, direction Kanfen (towards Luxembourg), on the departmental road D15.
The drivers of both vehicles are slightly injured while a passenger from one of the two cars was killed.
Firefighters cut out one of the cars
The firefighters had to cut a sedan involved in the accident to extract the passenger. Despite attempts at resuscitation, the man died on the spot .
An investigation was opened by the gendarmes to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
