He boasted at the gas station
It was Sunday evening that a suspect, aged 36, was arrested in Caen. This man, known to the police “ for petty crime (driving without a license, narcotics)” according to our colleagues from France Info , was arrested around 11.30pm on Sunday.
He was spotted at a gas station on the highway “where he boasted of being the author of the threats,” said a source close to the case.
The license plate and the description of the man were then given to the police, who proceeded to arrest him. He was taken into custody in Caen, added another source.
