The earth moved in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, 3:45 to south of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), reported Ouest-France on Thursday. According to the site the national network of seismic monitoring , the earthquake, quite small, was of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale.The epicenter was located south of Rennes, as measured Seismological Center Euro-Mediterranean.
“I was in bed when a sudden, I heard a noise like a roar and the earth began to vibrate,” explained the regional daily a resident of Vern-sur-Seiche in ten kilometers from Rennes.”I pushed the exclamation cry and I looked at the clock: it was 3.43am. It lasted only a moment, but the feeling was really scary,” she said.
