The department of Mayenne was severely affected by strong gusts of wind, yesterday Thursday, 12th January, between 6pm and 7pm. They caused a lot of damage to power lines. At 8am on Friday 13th, more than 2000 homes were still without electricity.
The department of Mayenne was hit by strong winds yesterday Thursday, 12th January, between 6pm and 7pm. They caused a lot of damage on power lines in the whole department. According to Enedis (ex ERDF), 12 000 households were without power for a few minutes to several hours. At 11pm, 90% of the clientele was replenished.
This morning, Friday 13th, at 8am, more than 2,000 homes were still without electricity, especially in the north of Mayenne. Wind gusts and heavy rainfall caused problems on electrical networks in particular by falling branches or trees. Enedis troubleshooting teams are mobilized to fuel the faster customers.
